Here's Willie!
Willie is a three and a half year old altered male with a wonderful disposition. He is American coated but has to grow his hair back. He is a lovely dog in every way. He has good house manners and walks very nicely on a leash. He gets along with other dogs (my intact male thinks he is great as do several young dogs I house) and he likes older children. To date I have not found any small children to test him with but he would probably be fine. His first experiences with them should be well supervised, but this reasonable, confident dog should have no problems that can not be resolved. He is not aggressive, but will alert to intruders. This dog has had two previous homes. It is my observation that Willie does not have any issues, at least none obvious and since he has lived with me in my home as a pet for many weeks with myself, my dogs and many visitors I am pretty sure he is sound of mind as well as body. Seeing that this dog is so wonderful makes me think that he probably was not very lucky in the past. It is my hope that this time he will be homed FOR LIFE! RE-HOMED Willie now lives in California. Sylvia Hammarstrom (Skansen Kennel) bred Willie and sent many people to me who were interested in acquiring him. He became a rescue in this region and for that reason I had Willie.
